Education<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Dr. Bedoya received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and her Certificate in Public Health from A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, where she graduated in the top of her class and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. While in dental school, Dr. Bedoya realized her desire to craft beautiful smiles, leading her to specialize in orthodontics.<\/p>\n

Dr. Bedoya went through an additional 24 month training period beyond dental school to specialize in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. This training earned her a Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) degree and a Certificate in Orthodontics from A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health Post-graduate Orthodontic Program.<\/p>\n

\nDr. Bedoya is passionate about orthodontics. She has a gentle, caring touch and prides herself in creating the best orthodontic esthetic results possible. Motivated by a commitment to provide the highest quality clinical care to each of her patients, Dr. Bedoya spends countless hours attending continuing education courses so that Doctor Smiles Orthodontics always offers the top treatment available.<\/p>\n

\nDr. Bedoya is honored to be mentored by Dr. Tom Pitts, an orthodontic legend and co-innovator of the Damon System. Dr. Pitts has now created the Pitts 21 Bracket System, which Dr. Bedoya believes is far superior to the Damon System and allows for greater efficiencies. The Pitts 21 Bracket System allows Dr. Bedoya to create a greater display of the anterior teeth, creating Smile Arc Protection and the most esthetically pleasing smile results. Dr. Bedoya is also a proud member of Dr. Tom Pitts\u2019 Orthodontic Masters Group.
